Wanted to give an update on my Leader Gear Install. This won't be a how-to, since there's already some good info on this site. I will highlight the main points with the hope of helping someone who may wish to do this procedure. One thing I will say is that I removed my Diff ONLY and NOT the subframe. When searching the site, I couldn't find a previous post with photos of someone removing the Diff without removing the subframe; therefore, I mostly followed my Factory Service Manual. Here's the built Leader Gear Diff I got from Greg D @ Specialty Z:
First, I rolled my front wheels up onto my Race Ramps. These ramps are awesome! Super Lightweight and very low approach. I originally purchased them for working on Corvettes. They are great for the Z32 also.

Then I jacked the rear and positioned my jack stands. Always put chocks on front ramps (as pictured above) before jacking back of car because the car WILL roll back if you don't!

Here's a pic of the "flying Z":

Next I removed my CatBacks and Test Pipes. Here's CatBacks removed before I got to the TP's:
Be sure to remove ABS Sensors (2 each; one on each side) before attempting to drop the Diff. In the photo below, I've circled the ABS Sensor in RED. Circled in BLUE is the one bolt that must be removed to release the Sensor.
I just grabbed the sensors with some long-nose pliers and worked them out:
The tips of the Sensors were loaded with grime, so I cleaned them with some Brake Cleaner:

Also remove the Vent Hose from the top of the Diff:
Drive Shafts to each wheel are next to be broken loose. I marked them, although I didn't need to since I installed a new Diff. You just remove the bolts, maybe give a few taps with a hammer, and they break apart:

Propeller Shaft (aka: Main Drive Shaft) is next:
Then I removed the two nuts securing the Diff to the suspension member. I was able to get to these with a swivel adapter and 8" extension:
I supported the Diff with my Floor Jack and removed the four bolts securing the front mounting member:

I was able to strap the Diff to my Floor Jack for security and lower it down with no problems:

Install was reverse of above. I then filled the new Diff with Richmond Synthetic using the "pressurized container method."
My initial thoughts: I did the break-in yesterday afternoon. Per Jeff at Richmond Gears, I drove the car 30-40 MPH for 30 minutes, let cool for 30 minutes....repeated this 3 times. I will drain the fluid after 200 miles and replace with Richmond Synthetic. From the little I've gotten to drive the car since the swap, I can tell turbo-lag is definitely reduced! Car is more responsive, feels lighter....nice!! I'll update after I get to drive her more. Regards, Greg
